Summer In East Austin
August in Austin is hot. Really hot.
When the temperature starts to creep above 100℉ at midday, the whole city slows to a crawl. The only options are to seek shade indoors or head to the nearest swimming hole.
But when the sun dips in the evenings, Austin comes back to life. Locals head out to the bar to meet with friends, or go for an evening ride under Austin's famous violet-colored sky.
