The Bearded Bastard at SXSW 2018

The Bearded Bastard was all over SXSW in 2018, our first stop was at the Shipstation Lounge Experience. The Lounge was set for an entire day of events, drinks, food, and an awesome Mark Cuban: Shark Tank After The Handshake discussion panel.

We had our TBB set up outside with a full display of product and had an amazing Barber Shop activation powered by the skills of Ryan Dinsmore (@theinkedbarber). Ryan is our newest addition to our Bearded Bastard Barber ambassador team. He is a Master Barber, currently managing Floyds 99 Barbershop in north Austin. Look to be seeing Ryan in a few of our upcoming tutorials and Bearded Bastard features on youtube!

Through out the day our team was able to educate an abundance of current Bastards and introduced the product to a number of new Bastards as well. It was great to have conversations about everything from beard care to proper use of our products. Our barbershop activation was a massive success. Ryan’s chair was full all day and cranking out beard trims and shape ups all day on all types of beards  from massive beards to a professionals 5 o'clock shadow. We even had one Bastard go for a full on handlebar mustache! Thank you to all of yall that came out!
